Digital Literacy for Remote and Underprivileged Communities

This project aims to organize a series of engaging workshops that offer a unique opportunity to

• Improve participants’ digital literacy skills on computer/Internet navigation, basic software proficiency, and more.
• Foster an inclusive learning environment, including Lebanese underprivileged citizens, Syrian/Palestinian refugees, and women.
• Raise awareness about online security risks and best practices to protect personal information and promote safe online behavior.
• Enhance participants’ digital communication skills, including email etiquette, social media engagement, and responsible online communication.
• Equip participants with the ability to troubleshoot common digital issues and seek online resources for self-help.
• Prepare participants to continue their digital literacy journey beyond the course, emphasizing the importance of lifelong learning.
